A simple but beautiful tea caddy in the style of "Old Shigaraki" (ko-shigaraki) by Ueda Juhō (*1925). He was selected by the Japanese Minister of Foreign Trade and Industry in 1979 as an official master in Shigaraki pottery. He has exhibited in numerous national exhibitions in Japan. In 2008 he was awarded the "Order of the Sacred Treasure, 6th rang" (Zuihō-shō 瑞宝章). Along with Takahashi Rakusai IV and Ueda Naokata IV he is one of the famous Shigaraki masters.
