A Bizen tea caddy (chaire) with purple color and yellow and grey goma ash glazing on the front. Nice single ishihaze on one the red side. It is made by "Living National Treasure" Isezaki Jun. He was born 1936 as second son of Isezaki Yōsan (1902–1961) and younger brother of Isezaki Mitsuharu (1934-2011). Isezaki Jun is holding the Kaneshige-Tōyō Price from 1981 and was awarded the title "Living National Treasure" in 2004.
Signed underneath. Comes with fitted wooden box that is inscribed Bizen chaire 備前茶入 and signed Jun 淳.
